A total of 84 churches across 10 cities in Ethiopia have officially updated their church signboards to read Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman: Lee Man-hee, hereinafter “Shincheonji Church of Jesus”).
On the 10th, the Peter Tribe of Shincheonji hosted the Ethiopia 84 Churches Signboard Changing Ceremony. During this gathering, 84 pastors proclaimed that they had joined Shincheonji Church of Jesus, pledged to spread the Word of the New Covenant Revelation, and resolved to unite through the “revealed Word.”
This milestone followed the participation of Pastor Asefa Angeto (President of the Misgana Denomination Association) in the 2nd Global Invitation Revelation Seminar held last November at Shincheonji Cheongju Church. Upon returning to Ethiopia, Pastor Asefa began leading local seminars based on the teachings he received.
Since then, Pastor Asefa has traveled to more than 100 churches across 10 cities, holding seminars and delivering testimony on the revealed Word he learned from Shincheonji.
The signboard changes are viewed as far more than symbolic—they are being recognized as a significant step in fostering a Word-centered transformation within the Ethiopian Christian community.
At the commemorative event, the 84 pastors affirmed, “We have joined Shincheonji Church of Jesus after learning the Word of the New Covenant Revelation. We commit to spreading this Word throughout Ethiopia, so that pastors and believers alike may follow the truth and devote themselves more fully to the ministry of the Word.”
A representative of the Peter Tribe of Shincheonji added, “Currently, 181 pastors in Ethiopia are studying the revealed Word through Shincheonji Church of Jesus. We will continue to testify that the prophecies of Revelation are being fulfilled today, and we will strive for churches worldwide to unite through the Word.”
